Mogull Cooking Up a Deal for Restaurant Space

Mogull cooking up a deal for restaurant space. The Buckingham Hotel, which sits astride one of New York's top locations --the northwest corner of West 57th Street and Avenue of the Americas--has teamed with Kim Mogull to deliver a premier restaurateur for its marquee restaurant space. "I am delighted Mr. Shapiro has chosen Mogull Realty to place a tenant for this world-renowned corner that also serves as the face of a very special boutique hotel.," said Kim Mogull, President, Mogull Realty, Inc. The Buckingham is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a recent $9 Million renovation and a strong marketing campaign designed to attract a top restaurant for the newly renovated hotel. "The Hotel's recent upgrades, along with such 2004 achievements as its designation as the official hotel to the JVC Jazz Festival, has increased the desirability of the available restaurant space. We are catching the eye of some incredible restaurateurs looking to capitalize on the Hotel's revitalization and the lure of 57th Street," said Mogull. "I am confident we can deliver a restaurateur worthy of this dynamic corner and such a stylish and popular hotel." The Buckingham restaurant space, years ago known to many as housing Wolf's Delicatessen, is one of Midtown's "prime corners." Now, the 8,500 square foot street level establishment is a turnkey fine dining venue. "We have a complete restaurant, ready-made with a world-class kitchen and the city's top location," said Stephen Shapiro, Managing Partner of the Buckingham Hotel. "We believe teaming with Ms. Mogull--who possesses the contacts and 'pizzazz' needed to find us the perfect match--will result in a great restaurant, both for the Hotel and for the City." Mogull, hailed for helping transform the Meatpacking District into a hotspot, was recently appointed The Trump Organization's exclusive retail broker on four Trump buildings.
